Historical background

Arsenal and Adidas introduced the all-white kit in January 2022 to support Arsenal in the Community's work protecting young people from knife crime and youth violence. The club said it would not be sold in the ordinary retail run, and would instead be awarded to people making a positive difference in their communities.

Design story

A wholly white shirt with dark trim and marks, replacing Arsenal's red entirely for a single appearance. The absence of red is the design: white, already part of the home identity, rebalanced so the missing colour carries the message.

Notable moments
